Cheap Car Insurance & Crash For Cash

If you have a good memory then you may recall the reporting of a major crash for cash scheme in Greater Manchester last year. It was a big deal at the time because it was not only a part of an organised crime ring but was also the largest scam of its kind to hit the UK. Basically two brothers owning a claims company staged collisions and then made a killing by claiming as a result. They have been found guilty this week and will shortly be sentenced to jail.

There is a moral of the story and it is an important one because the incidence of fraudulent claims has gone up in recent years.
